🚨 BREAKING: Introducing X-70 Fractal, @NASA's newest experimental aircraft!
This crewed, modular aircraft will allow the agency to rapidly swap out internal & external payloads to help keep pushing the frontiers of aviation technology! @nasaadmin
Details: go.nasa.gov/4kAeM0d
Flying high!
Today, our X-59 quiet supersonic X-59 aircraft traveled from Birmingham, Alabama, to Daytona Beach, Florida. The aircraft aims to fly faster than sound with just a gentle thump rather than a sonic boom — helping usher in a new era of faster air travel.
We're prepping to feature X-59 at MAX POWER and will provide updates soon!

Please enjoy this amazing takeoff of Jared Isaacman's MiG-29 piloted by the amazing Todd "Leif" Ericson from KPVW this morning courtesy of Adrien Martinez with his permission (his was way better than mine but he isn't on X).
This was a dream experience for me and both the airport staff and the pilot were incredibly kind and accommodating to everyone!

3 Louisiana Shipyards to Build 30 Drone Ships in $1.2B Navy MUSV Deal — USNI News
news.usni.org/2026/09/29/3-l…
Saronic has been awarded a production OT under the U.S. Navy's MUSV Marketplace for Marauder, our 180-foot dual-use autonomous ship — following a rigorous at-sea evaluation that tested the vessel’s capabilities.
The trials included autonomously tracking and maneuvering around a variety of vessels, plus a battery of passive-perception tests — requiring Marauder to detect, track, and follow other vessels using only its passive onboard sensors, with no active radar. It's one of the hardest problems in autonomous maritime systems, and Marauder ran every scenario back-to-back on the same platform now under contract with the Navy.
"Marauder went from initial design to on-the-water in under a year, and this evaluation demonstrated that the platform holds up under the Navy's own toughest testing," said Dino Mavrookas, CEO and Co-Founder. "We've now flipped our third Marauder hull, with several more moving through the production line behind it. We can build at that pace because we designed the autonomy, software, hardware, and the production process side-by-side, as one system, rather than bolting them together after the fact. That's what it means to be a vertically integrated shipbuilder, and it's why we've been able to build and deliver at speed and scale."

BREAKING: The Pentagon is developing a way to launch military cargo into orbit, divide it among multiple reentry capsules, and deliver supplies near several battlefields from a single rocket.
The Air Force and Space Force are moving away from the original Rocket Cargo concept, which centered on flying as much as 30 tons aboard one enormous reusable rocket. The new priority is a network of smaller, lower-cost capsules that can reenter independently and reach remote locations on land or at sea.
The services jointly allocated $51.8 million to the Payload Delivery System effort in FY2026 and requested another $48.8 million for FY2027, according to Breaking Defense.
AFRL has engaged SpaceX, Blue Origin, $RKLB, Sierra Space, Varda, Inversion Space, and Outpost Space as it seeks multiple capsule and launch providers.
If successful, the Pentagon could pre-position critical supplies in orbit or launch them on demand, then send individual capsules toward forces operating across several distant or contested locations globally. The technology remains under development.

A few of us were invited out to Nellis AFB to take part in the final A-10 departure ceremony.
The final salute was a testament to five decades of dedicated aircraft maintainers who sustained the structural integrity, combat readiness, and durability of the entire A-10 fleet 🫡

And of course the B1 Lancers giving us some, kind of hard, to see "4 carrots".
Thanks for setting off the car alarms boys, that was AWESOME.

Fit for Fury.
Notional FQ-44 configurations confirm Fury’s compatibility with a range of munitions, including 500-pound class guided bombs, Small Diameter Bombs, air-launched cruise missiles, rocket pods, external targeting pods, and (many) more. Fight unfair.

New Test Footage: Black Hawk executes rocket-powered launch of Altius-700.
At Project Convergence Capstone 6, an H-60M Black Hawk crew employed an Altius-700 hunter-killer team to autonomously find the target, pass data across the formation, and strike.
Another successful step towards fielding launched effects with Army Aviation, pushing sensing and weapons deeper into the fight without sending crews with them.
Next up: Altius-700 deploys with a Cavalry unit.
