Last year, I had the opportunity to interview Ed Logg, the programmer behind games like Asteroids, Centipede, Gauntlet, and many more. That interview was originally intended to be part of a straightforward career retrospective. However, over the proceeding months...
Finally got around to seeing Nadja (1994). I know it's in large part because of Elina Löwensohn and Martin Donovan, but the movie feels like a funny halfway point between the works of Hal Hartley and David Lynch. If that sounds like your thing, definitely give this one a go
Hey! I did the music for this trailer! Halftone is doing some really inspiring work, simultaneously developing a couple of really cool games with a small team. I got hooked on their game BloodDome99, I can't wait to see the next ones come out!
We're finally ready to announce Wheel of Torture, the game we've been developing concurrently with TMFN. WoT is an incremental horror game and we're psyched with how it's coming along. Check out the trailer below and drop us a wishlist! Happy Halloween!

Every year, we (myself and my friends in The Joint Commission) record a new Halloween themed song for Halloween. This is our latest offering!
Seeing such a positive response to the new edition of You Are Empty. That was from ZOOM Platform, which is a great DRM-free storefront for games. They also distribute on Steam, but I would urge anyone who appreciates their work on that game to also check out their site!
I may have asked before, but can anyone recommend any PC platformers that feel similar to Mario 3? I’m really not into Celeste, and the super punishing games like Meat Boy don’t really do it for me either.
Watching the Columbo pilot. I love that they waited over 30 minutes to introduce Columbo. Once he shows up, his charisma immediately takes over the scene

📢IT'S HERE. Divine Frequency EA is finally RELEASED! ON STEAM NOW!
We had some hard times along the way but the support was INSTRUMENTAL. Thanks to everyone who believed in the soul of the project! We can't wait to show what else is to come!

I carried the shovel, crank, and manhole key to the end just in case I wound up needing them again (I didn’t)
Sorting the stash like you're playing Escape from Tarkov😆

I don’t mean to complain about AI so much, it’s just so annoying when “advancements” in technology break stuff that was working just fine. I love when new tech betters my life, but lately I’m encountering too much nonsense.
I’m a bit of a Luddite. I had a landline til 2017, I have never and never will own a smartphone. I think Spotify and the like are for fools. Still, I love finding tech that I can make work for me, to supplement what I love doing in life instead of exploiting it or making it worse
Finished the game tonight, all three endings, 98% completion. It’s good! I am a little burnt out on this type of ambiguous storytelling (I’m just longing for more grounded stories lately), but I can’t hold it against the game. It’s really well made!
Been noticing more and more game walkthroughs that are full of AI hallucinations. Not just the AI summaries in search engines, but full on multi page walkthroughs. So much of what I used to use the internet for is now full of litter from these machines. Oh well!
