The sex and gender differences session at ADPD2023 was excellent! And people kept coming in … and together, we filled the huge lecture hall. Great to see such vast interest in this important topic. Thanks from one in the audience to all speakers for great lectures!

Checking the quality of my poster for the AD/PD meeting in Gothenburg, starting tomorrow. Translational histological study of the subthalamic area in mice and primate. Poster #0828. Come see! It looks rather neat! And important new data redrawing the maps!

Today, Oct 4: 20 years since I defended my thesis at Karolinska Institutet! I remember how nervous I was but also the skill of the excellent faculty opponent, Kenneth Campbell, Ohio, who made it a nice event. Warmest thoughts to students defending their work today and every day!
