maybe u should read their position papers and statements. they r not trying to hide that they dont like rare disease drugs using small non randomized trials with surrogates that sell for high prices. that is the same as saying they want to reduce innovation for rare disease. and to those who say “they just want to approve drugs that work”, anyone who has run a single rare disease trial will tell u how it is often impossible (yes even if u have a cure) to meet traditional trial standards when dealing with small patient populations.
