Magala Umar has retained his position as Kawempe North Lord Councillor after the Kawempe Chief Magistrate’s Court dismissed an election petition filed by his runner-up and NRM candidate, Mayanja Saava, with costs to the respondents.
In a ruling delivered by Chief Magistrate Okoth Thomas, the court found that defects in the oath of the official agent could not have substantially affected the election results.

Dr Josephine Ndagire is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public and Comparative Law at @MakerereLaw.
The @UN_HRC Advisory Committee is essentially the elite "think-tank" of the UN's highest human rights body (Human Rights Council, established in 1946 as the Human Rights Commission but rebranded in 2006). It was established to provide specialized, research based expertise on cross-cutting thematic issues, such as, rights impacts of Artificial Intelligence, climate change, and socio-economic justice. Members are elected on a geographically distributed basis (five seats designated for African States).

We participated in the KCCA football Gala at the Phillip Omondi KCCA stadium as Kawempe Division .
Our efforts earned us medals and a He GOAT after at the finals .

The High court in Masaka presided over by Justice Victoria Nakintu Katamba has granted bail to comrades Gaddafi Mugumya , Smart Wakabi , Eddie Mutwe and Achilleo Kivumbi .
However Eddie Mutwe and Achilleo have Pending charges of illegal drilling ; another trumped up charge .
We pray that our comrades are granted bail on the trumped up charges in Masaka
