People underestimate how much work, stress, and money goes into running a magazine I'm always sad to see venues close But - everyone in this business (writers, editors, agents, etc) should do what they need to do to take care of themselves and their health
Three Crows Magazine is on an indefinite hiatus. This is due to a combination of life circumstances, health issues, and other commitments that are incompatible with the level of effort it takes to run a literary magazine.

I had put off writing USURPER (a loose sequel to OUTRÉ) for a year or so while working on my Kubrick book. I'm finally returning to it. Here's a few selections from both novels published in @MagazineCrows: threecrowsmagazine.com/outre @RDSPress #literary #sciencefiction #schizflow – at Celina, OH

If you’ve ever loved a Laird Barron story: please give. If you’ve ever had a Laird Barron story give you a panic attack: give double. If you can’t give please reshare. Sucks that we have a system where this is necessary, but we do.

Laird Barron needs our help. He's one of the most beloved people in the field, and he's earned that. A freelancer's life is precarious on the best of days, and falling ill without health insurance can be ruinous. Let's lift him back up.

Hi folks: Author Laird Barron (@LairdBarron) has been hospitalized with some very serious health issues. Unfortunately, Laird doesn’t have health insurance, so a few friends started a GoFundMe in order to help out. If you can, please kick in a few bucks. gofundme.com/f/laird-barron-… – at Petaluma, CA

I'm looking to HIRE an editor. This means, of course, that I expect to pay. I am used to getting editorial feedback. I understand the process! The WIP is an adult sci-fi with a lot of OV queer stuff and a running theme of Grief and Death.
