Today is September 11... A day for silence, remembrance, & respect for the nearly 3,000 lives stolen & the countless families still carrying that grief. Somehow Mamdani thought laughing & joking through the memorial was appropriate? There is nothing funny about that day. Not the towers. Not the Pentagon. Not Flight 93. Not the first responders who ran toward the fire. Not the people who never came home. If you can’t sit through a memorial without turning it into a joke, you have no business standing anywhere near it. That wasn’t a slip. That was disrespect, plain & simple... And We the People noticed. The victims deserved dignity. Their families deserved solemnity. What they got instead was someone treating sacred ground like a casual hangout. Shameful. Do better... Or stay away from the remembrance entirely.
