Could an entomologist tell me what these beetles are. I have never seen them before and were sunning themselves on a French bean leaf. Size and shape of a 7 spotted Ladybird, maybe slightly bigger. – at Magor, Wales

I arrived at Magor Marsh reserve and this was the first bird I saw. A nice male Kingfisher. – at Magor, Wales

La producción masiva de aceite de palma además de arrasar los bosques, está exterminando la fauna de Borneo, solo miren este orangután del Borneo como fue captado en estado famélico por la destrucción de su hábitat.
Más de 100.000 orangutanes murieron sólo entre 1999 y 2015 por la pérdida de selva en Borneo, las empresas capitalistas los consideran una "plaga agrícola", muchas veces directamente los cazan y los matan.
Al igual que los elefantes del Borneo quedan menos de 1.500 ejemplares libres, todos mueren por la destrucción del hábitat o directamente envenenados o asesinados a tiros por los esbirros de los capitalistas tras entrar en conflicto con los intereses de las plantaciones de aceite de palma.

The day was exhausting and the night was hot. After hours of walking along a trail so narrow that you could only put one foot in front of the other, she finally vocalized and warmed my heart.The Crested Owl was much larger than I had imagined, and it was impossible not to cry when she perched for the photo. In that moment, all the heat and fatigue disappeared like magic. The magic of birdwatching always happens.♥️
