As a former prosecutor, I agree with the saying that any prosecutor “can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.” So when the grand jury refused to indict Cassidy Hutchinson, that means there was no real evidence. Another huge embarrassment for the corrupt @AGToddBlanche.
Breaking news: A grand jury rejected the DOJ’s attempt to indict former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson for the account she gave lawmakers of President Trump’s actions during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to people familiar with the matter. wapo.st/4jFAkbz

You were sending unsolicited pics of your tiny shriveled up dick to multiple women, called it “youthful indiscretions” and you were 53 at the time. Get the fuck outta my city sex pest.
You know you’re losing when your only play is to brand your opponent a “racist” and “white supremacist.” It was inevitable. Tennesseans see through Democratic Socialist Justin Pearson’s desperate race-baiting. He calls opponents racists and white supremacists more readily than he follows the rules of the legislative chamber he was once expelled from for shutting down proceedings with a bullhorn. This is the same pattern: when he can’t win on the merits, he reaches for the race card. It’s not just political theater. It’s corrosive. It divides communities, poisons debate, and distracts from the real problems facing Tennessee families: crime, jobs, education, and the cost of living. Pearson treats race-baiting as a substitute for governing. That is not leadership. It is chaos dressed up as moral outrage. Voters in Middle and West Tennessee deserve better than a professional protester who disrupts first and accuses second. They deserve someone who prioritizes results over rhetoric, order over spectacle, and competence over chaos. Reject Democratic Socialist Justin Pearson. Reject the chaos. Choose Competence Over Chaos.

Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there. It's not a good place if you're price conscious."

The GOP’s closing message: “We knew our policies would drive up gas prices, and we’d do it again.” How appealing!
Trump: I knew that oil would go up. I actually thought it would go up 2-3 times higher and I was still willing to do it

It is a masterclass in self-parody for Republicans to respond to a speech criticizing their lack of focus by immediately pivoting all of their rhetorical energy toward defending the architectural dignity of the Cheesecake Factory.
The Cheesecake Factory is a great American institution. Tune in at 12:30 PM EST for a surprise. 🎶

“Do you understand who you are dealing with? This is America. Back up.” A United Nations meeting was dramatically suspended yesterday after US ambassador Mike Waltz and Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla both ignored the chair’s plea for order in the chamber. The problem started when Waltz blamed Cubans for the shocking US embargoes and blockades that are causing huge suffering to the people of the island. Cuban representatives, astonished at the way Waltz blamed the victims for the crisis, in their eyes, stood up and objected, citing Rule 71, which allows listeners to raise a point of order. Ambassador Waltz responded that the Cubans didn’t like the substance of his speech, so were not raising a point of order. But when complaints continued, this caused Ambassador Waltz to lose his temper and shout “Back up! Back away. Do you understand what you’re dealing with? This is America.” . INTERNATIONAL TERRITORY The rest of the United Nations was outraged by this attitude, as the UN building is legally international territory. When Waltz refused to stop his tirade, Khalilur Rahman, chair of the 81st session, ordered that the meeting be instantly suspended. Waltz ignored him. The meeting was then resumed, but footage of the argument created a huge storm on social media. Some people in the US defended Waltz’s narrative, blaming Cubans for the suffering caused by the US embargos. But much of the commentary from the rest of the world said that the United Nations, for the safety of the delegates and the organization itself, should no longer be situated in New York. When New York was originally chosen as the site, the US pledged not to politicize US visa access to meetings—but has regularly broken the pledge, such as refusing to allow visas for Palestinians. . .

I dunno man, I think referees should probably be sanctioning the dangerous, out of control tackle as much -- if not more -- than they should the petulant but unimpactful swing out in response.

🚨BREAKING: The woman punched in the face at Trump’s Youngstown rally has filed a report seeking to press charges, and the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating three men. The woman was wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt when she started shouting during the Oct. 12 rally at the Covelli Centre. Videos show three Trump supporters going after her, and at least one punched her in the face and pulled her hair, The Vindicator reports. Others can be seen restraining her as she was attacked. Deputies removed her. The Trump supporters were permitted to stay. Trump stopped speaking, then said: “He’s a paid protester. They’re all paid.” He misidentified her gender and made fun of her weight. No evidence has been offered that she was paid. According to Newsweek, she told The New York Times that no organization coordinated or financed her appearance and (surprise) ordinary citizens can want powerful p*dophiles held accountable. No arrests were made that night. Sheriff Jerry Greene said deputies didn’t see the assault and she hadn’t filed a report. His office then found her through social media and her if she would like to press charges. She said yes. As of Oct. 21, the sheriff said he’d identified three men, two from the area and one from New Jersey. The two area men want lawyers present for their interviews. Separately, a man named Russell Dickert bragged that he and “a friend” named Gary his son Clint “subdued her and threw her to the concrete.” Dickert’s LinkedIn, located by Reich-Wing Watch, happened to list his residence in New Jersey. Police haven’t disclosed the identify of the three suspects they identified. Prosecutor Lynn Maro said her office’s information indicates a misdemeanor assault, though Greene said the woman’s injuries could change that. The woman has been identified as Blake Miley, 29. She’s represented by civil rights attorney Subodh Chandra. Whether to charge anyone is up to prosecutors.
