Tina Thompson calls out the WNBA players, commentators & fans for being too emotional:
“If we want to have billion dollar conversations, if we want to be paid a certain way, if we want to be treated a certain way then we have to start acting according to those statements”

🚨 SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, WNBA?!
Fever fans point one finger at A’ja Wilson to signal a foul, or a troll online send a DM and suddenly it’s labeled racist and becomes a major controversy.
But Valkyries fans in THEIR OWN STANDS reportedly told women’s sports activists to k••• themselves, cursed them out, and flipped them off during Game 1 of the WNBA Finals.
WHERE IS THE SAME ENERGY FOR ACCOUNTABILITY?!
If we’re going to call out unacceptable fan behavior, the standard should apply to EVERY fan base. You cannot condemn one group while ignoring allegations involving another.
Criticize the behavior. Apply the rules consistently. No double standards.
FAIR IS FAIR. WHY IS THAT SO HARD?

So they're saying the $201 ticket prices for game 3 at state farm arena are the most expensive tickets in finals history. Damn even Fever regular season games were more expensive then that especially before the current sw regime came in and turned alot of fans off with their anticaitlin agenda

Jenny Boucek sounds like she might be a good choice for the head coaching job with the Fever since she's been Rick Carlisle's assistant for the past 5 years and has been in the NBA for almost 10 years now since 2017

WNBA player Natisha Hiedeman shared that she was an active player in the league while also working at a grocery store. The growth of this league is AMAZING!
Stories like Natisha’s show just how much Caitlin Clark and her draft class have changed the game by bringing a whole new audience to the league.
Now, it’s up to the league and its players to come together, capitalize on this momentum, and continue building a better future for the WNBA. The opportunity is right in front of them. LET’S NOT WASTE IT!

Inclusion is tested when people disagree.
Not when everybody thinks alike.
If your response to a different opinion is "shut up," you don't believe in inclusion. You believe in conformity.

🤔 Make it make sense!
A’ja Wilson averaged 20 PPG and 8 rebounds during her first MVP season.
Caitlin Clark is averaging 20 PPG and 8 APG for her career. 🔥🏀
One gets MVP trophies. The other gets endless hate, criticism, and people trying to discredit what she does on the court.
The double standard is REAL.

"Its always a Fever Fan"
Well, these NASTY, HATEFUL, RACIST comments on Jackie Young's instagram post dont look like Fever Fans.
They look like @LVAces fans and sports bettors...

Candace ... it wasn't a foul on Sophie and no Fever fan had been kicked out of any game this year. Every single one was found that they didn't violate any standard of conduct and were allowed back into the game. Please get it right!
Candace and AB break down what really happened between A'ja Wilson and the Indiana Fever fan 👀👀
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Candace Parker incorrectly claims that a fan was ejected from the previous game for something he said. However, the fan was not ejected, and his comments did not violate any arena rules.
