After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN. The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco. All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again. By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center. The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

Dwyane Wade’s advice to Bam Adebayo and Giannis in order to win, is having a real conversation about who’s team it is and their roles: “Bam is a player who established himself as a franchise player, an All Star, 83 points last year. Now you’re getting a top 20 established player in the league coming to your team. — What I look at is really defining who’s team it is and role of that. You want Giannis coming down right away and feeling comfortable and confident that he can be Giannis 100%. I want to see Giannis come down and say ‘hey bam, I got this. This is my show, imma make sure we all eat tho.’ I think this is the year Bam turns his attention to being an overall player in our league more so ‘we need Bam to score 83.’ Are they going to look at each other and say ‘hey, it’s my team, respectfully, but I’ll make sure everybody else gets involved’ Coach Spo can have all the experience he wants, if Giannis and Bam don’t have this conversation, Bron and I had the conversation. It took us a year to have it. You’re the guy. Doesn’t take anything away from me, I’m still that dude. For us to get to the level we’re trying to get to and win, it’s a sacrifice that has to happen somewhere. Unfortunately it’s gotta happen at the top.” (@wynetwork / open.spotify.com/episode/2Uo…)

Jaime Jaquez Jr. since joining the Bucks: 20.7 PPG | 8.7 RPG | 3.7 APG | 61.1% FG | 55.6% 3PT

Miami's Shot Quality (Expected eFG) through three games is 53.78, Rank 20. Their opponents in those three games... Minnesota: 50.43 Detroit: 51.27 Charlotte: 50.36 Meaning Heat have allowed the lowest Shot Quality in the league at 50.7. Defense hasn't been as bad as it looks.

Heat flat out suck right now, not complete panic but needed to start fast and have started 0-3 with 3 blowouts.
