Breaking news from William Vineall, Director of NHS Quality, Safety & Investigations @DHSCgovuk : the statutory #MedicalExaminer system will be implemented from April 2023, and the system will be funded centrally i.e. no charge to families. Very welcome news.

The new East of England Adult Critical Care Transfer Service supports hospitals across the region.
It's a specialised transport service for adult patients who need critical care, including those with complex time-sensitive conditions.

Getting ready to chair the afternoon session, with speakers focussing on implementation, supporting families and meeting the needs of faith communities. The keynote speech will be given by @NadineDorries, Minister for Patient Safety, Suicide Prevention and Mental Health.
