1. We are merely holding those people to the same standard they would, and have, held others to...
2. The length of time passed is irrelevant, those included in the screenshots don't care about that when they're attacking other people.
3. These "revelations" about Brand aren't exactly new... if your average joe could find that out, politicians should be able to do better - after all, we've been told how easy vetting is, and how abhorrent that failure to vet someone is.
There are lots of very silly posts on this site (from people who really should know better) showing quotes from politicians speaking highly of @rustyrockets Russell Brand, snidely mocking them for backing a sex offender.
These people were praising Brand YEARS before he was ever publicly accused of sex crimes, let alone convicted of rape.
So what on earth is your point? This is absurd.

Now Russell Brand's been convicted of rape, we need to talk about Sylvie Berki. Because she can't speak for herself.
In 2014, Ms Berki said she'd been assaulted by Russell Brand.
But if she talks about it, even now, she risks jail.

One of the rapes Russell Brand was found guilty of took place at @UKLabour party conference.
Cunty Karen must explain the full extent of what they knew and when.
Truly shocking.
Nigel Farage must urgently make clear whether he was aware of these appalling allegations. If he was, Farage must explain why Madgwick was allowed to stand and work as party staff.

What every kid in the UK needs right now is to learn Ukrainian.
Jesus Christ - they are bloody mental.
Proud to announce that students in England will be able to study Ukrainian at GCSE.
It’s a chance for pupils to explore Ukraine’s rich culture and history and, for the Ukrainian community to remain connected to their heritage.
This is another step in our enduring support for Ukraine as part of the 100 Year Partnership 🇺🇦🇬🇧

From the Book of Disk, Chapter 3
In the beginning there were the First Drives, and their names were A: and B:, and they were the floppies. They were not elegant. They were thin, fragile, and demanded constant sacrifice disk swaps, write protect tabs, the ritual of “please insert the disk labeled” performed under fluorescent lights. To them the early machines bent the knee, for without them there was no boot, no data, no word processor.
Then came the hard drive, and it was called C:, for it arrived third. It did not ask to be first. It merely sat in the bay and spun, and the people saw that it was good, and that it held far more than any floppy, and that it did not rattle when you walked too fast. So they installed the operating system upon it, and called it the system drive, and the old gods were not cast down but simply… left in the BIOS, still reserved, still acknowledged in the table of letters, though no one invoked them anymore.
And Microsoft looked upon the generations that followed, who had never known the click of a 5.25-inch disk or the careful alignment of a 3.5, and it said: The children must not be shown the old gods.
For if the new ones learned that A: and B: once ruled, they might ask why the alphabet begins elsewhere. They might attempt to summon the floppies by force, or rename the world so that C: was no longer first. And the installers would break, and the paths would fracture, and the registry would weep. So the letters remain sealed, A: and B: still written in the book but never spoken aloud by the system, while C: stands in the open as if it had always been the beginning.
Thus it is written, and thus it remains; the hard drive is C:, and the old gods sleep in the assignment table, undisturbed, so that the children may believe the world has always started with the letter that came third.

Oh Bridget, oh Bridget...
When Labour MP Mike Amesbury was caught on CCTV knocking a constituent to the pavement and punching him in the head, Bridget Phillipson went on television to defend him:
"Mike Amesbury is cooperating... it is right that the police now look into this matter and decide what action, if any, is required."
When sitting Labour MP Dan Norris was arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual offences against a girl, Bridget Phillipson demanded zero inquiries into who vetted him, never asked what Keir Starmer knew, and kept completely silent about Labour "drowning in sleaze."
Reform suspended this councillor immediately the moment charges were brought.
Spare the public the selective moral lecture from a Cabinet that covers for its own MPs while weaponising an active criminal case for partisan engagement.
Truly shocking.

The #EUReset wants the UK to have certificate-free borders with the EU, but the EU is full of animal diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease in cattle, African Swine Fever in pigs and wild boar, Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) in sheep and goats, and Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) in cattle.
Why would any farmer or meat and dairy consumer want a certificate-free border with the EU?

I'm disgusted by the priorities of those in power. They're letting foreign men invade our shores, letting the world come here to claim benefits and giving away reparations to foreign countries. What I care about is Homeless Veterans. Please donate - More 9pm @GBNEWS

It’s not.
It’s Remembrance month, now f*ck off.
This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.

UK security agencies still assess Islamist extremism as the largest terrorism threat. MI5's Islamist-related caseload remains roughly 75% of its counter-terrorism work, according to recent threat assessments.
