It can be a real fault line about privileging accredited media. As @JTownend writes “selective accreditation frustrates the purpose of the open justice principle, enshrined in centuries of common law and ensuring that justice is “seen to be done”.” I agree.
Excellent piece by @JTownend on courts, reporting and open justice

More time needed to digest all said in this weighty report. For journos, wonderful to see it tackle well the need to boost #openjustice in @HMCTSgovuk's plans for more 'digital' justice. My evidence is cited, & @seethrujustice @TransformJust1 @sueprince , @philchamberlain+ UWE

J'aime les films Francais mais je ne parle pas la langue. J'ecris dans l'Anglais. (Busting out my GCSE knowledge there, so I probably butchered it. 😂)

So in my 22 years I thought I’d try to remember some highlights. I’ll start with courts attended in pupillage but now long gone: Sheerness, West Malling, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Gravesend, Ashford, HorseferryRd., Greenwich, Billericay..........
