Brian Johnson and Angus Young of AC/DC at The Summit in Houston, Texas, on October 30, 1983, on the Flick of the Switch tour.
After three albums with producer Mutt Lange, the band went back to Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas and produced Flick of the Switch themselves, with Angus and Malcolm Young at the controls. It came out that August. Drummer Phil Rudd had been fired during the sessions after finishing his parts, so this tour was the first with Simon Wright behind the kit.
Fastway opened the Houston show, and AC/DC played a set packed with Back in Black songs, plus "Sin City," "The Jack," "Let There Be Rock" and "Highway to Hell."
⚡ The Houston show opened with "Guns for Hire" and ended with "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)." Did you see AC/DC in '83? ⚡

Many thanks to everyone who has expressed concern for us.
To clear things up, we’ve decided to take some time off after decades of touring because we need a break.
Not for health reasons.
We’ll play our November shows and then take our first break in 50 years.
Thank you for all your support!
