But you told those foreigners to go back to their own country as they were stealing your jobs and that they were queue jumpers. So they obeyed. You just canโt, just canโt have it both ways.

๐จ NEW: Reform MP Lee Anderson asks Keir Starmer how many people he has deported were failed small boat asylum seekers
Starmer: "It's very good he's standing in for [Nigel Farage], no sign of him yesterday. He was the first through the e-gates to somewhere south of France" #PMQs

Should Gary Lineker stay quiet on Gaza?
Should anyone stay quiet on starving children to death?
Somehow, despairingly, this question provokes two responses
I hold one, which I will share with @NickFerrariLBC tomorrow at 8am on @lbc.

My question clearly struck a nerve.
The faces of many Labour MPs told their own story โ plenty of them know I was right.
If Starmerโs convictions change with the political weather, itโs no surprise that support for Labour is falling through the floor.
Thank you Deborah

I am an atheist with respect for other peoples beliefs and religions...not to mention feelings. Many Catholics are still grieving over the loss of Pope francis...I am not personally offended.. I chose my words carefully... I consider it deeply disrespectful.

The UK doesnโt โbelongโ to Europe.
Brexit wasnโt about geography, it was about sovereignty.
We donโt need Brussels running our country ever again.

How: by reducing pay rates below those of China and India? Why not bring back the steam age and spinning jennies whilst youโre at it? This isnโt a thought-out policy, is it?

Fair enough. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
So here's a prime example of how it should be done. ๐๐

Five years since we left the EU and not one tangible benefit to have come from it.
Most telling of all is how it has diminished our ability to generate wealth and thus provide for our defence and public services in challenging times. Far from getting rid of red tape there were 41 million customs declarations to be made for trade between the U.K. and EU in 2023. Not surprisingly over 16,000 SMEs have given up exporting to Europe and our goods exports are rising at the paltry rate of 0.3% per annum compared to the OECD average of of 4.3%. Margaret Thatcher helped create the Single Market in goods and services because she could see clearly the boost it could give to our economy and it bore fruit. Until reality dawns for our politicians we are back to the 1960s-constant failing initiatives to boost growth, stagflation and impoverishment. We deserve better and it is within our power to get better. But that means abandoning the politics of fantasy.

Iโve worked abroad for most of my career. You honestly donโt want to know what people abroad said when you were PM. You would die of embarrassment.
People I meet abroad now pity us Brits over the sheer ghastliness of Starmer's socialist sogfest of gloom
