We are devastated by the news of a Greensboro Police Officer being shot and killed. Durham's heart aches for the officer's family, friends, and the entire law enforcement community tonight. We continue to pray for those that suit up and stand between us and chaos every day.

Political posturing and electoral messaging at this time is perverse and pathetic. Still grieving but we'll get at you soon. #TyreNichols

At last night’s council meeting, some of the most horrid verbiage pierced the lips of a resident, rudely disrespecting our #LGBTQIA+ brothers and sisters. I am so sorry that happened. #BeU #LoveIsLove #pridemonth
