We put a lot of work and hours into this. I hope Michael’s family feel it goes some way to showing just how devastating the impact of knife crime is, in an effort to try to educate and hopefully prevent instances like this ever happening again. bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001yjx…

“I’d be homeless without Derek Adams.” One anonymous member of staff told me this after the now sacked Morecambe manager had paid their rent whilst they went without wages. Panjab Warriors can do as they wish now they own the club, but Adams’ contributions go beyond the pitch.

Let’s clarify this deliberate cold exposure thing once and for all. There is so much nonsense out there about cold and fear of cold, etc. It’s pretty simple when you look at it through the lens of the hormones and neural circuits involved. It also makes clear how to do it right.

My boy Vernon! He was reported to me on a doorstep. Not moving and in day light hours. Both signs of concern for hogs. He was dehydrated, hypothermic and with a heavy parasite load. Thanks to prickles and paws, I’ll be able to pick him up and bring him back soon. 🦔 🐾💜
Vernon has today completed his course of treatment and will soon be headed to an outside hutch to acclimatise before release 🙌🦔🐾 We are very lucky here in Cornwall that with our milder temperatures good weather windows for release are frequent.

"We are reducing the environmental requirements placed on developers when they pay into a nature restoration fund... they can focus on getting things built and stop worrying about the bats and the newts," Chancellor Rachel Reeves says Follow live bbc.in/3EdL6TE
