Want to move kids from “I want” to “I’ll make”? Give them something to own. This was a simple way to teach our students how they can contribute at home—hoping to build confidence, ownership, and a habit of serving others. 🍋

It’s always an honor to share space with educators who have a heart for this work. We don’t just teach lessons, we dedicate our lives to helping others write their stories. Grateful for every opportunity to celebrate our profession and highlight the incredible work happening.

Community is a two-way street. To lead it, you must be in it, work alongside it and serve it. That is where trust is built and you learn that impact begins with presence. These are weekends well spent! Thank you to the @townofsmyrna , SOAC, and @tnwildlife for today!

Thankful for this three-day weekend—a chance to slow down, reflect, and give attention to the weak areas in this season. Rest isn’t always doing nothing. Sometimes, it’s realigning and growing. A healthy you helps develop a healthy child.

At some point in my career, I realized helping the child also meant helping the community around them. Kids grow through people, places, opportunities, and support. So if we want stronger young people, we have to build stronger communities around them.

Session 1 of my goal to become bilingual. I absolutely loved my tutor (Sisi), and I’m ready for the journey ahead. Aprendiendo cada día!

We shouldn’t teach teachers in ways we’d never want them to teach students. If learning needs relevance, modeling, practice, feedback, and application, then PD should too. Professional learning should model great teaching. #instructionalleadership
