A group of rescued greyhounds are changing the lives of aged care residents across NSW in an Australian first.
Greyhounds Helping Aged Care Residents
.@mbeerfoundation “food without flavour is fuel” Maggie Beer bringing great passion to the necessity of lifting quality (and smells) of food across our aged care homes at #IDC2022
.@NovaPeris “language holds our history” - a discussion on thinking through dementia amongst our First Nations people
.@tee_smyth on the couch with Mike Baird at #IDC2022. Beautiful heartfelt reflections of how Tully cared for and loved her Mum as she lived with dementia
I know there is a lot of need out there right now… but would be hugely grateful if you’d consider supporting our vulnerable clients and impacted staff
The HammondCare Foundation has set up an emergency fund to provide urgent flood relief to hundreds of frail HammondCare clients and our hardworking frontline care teams. Please donate if you can hubs.li/Q015fqSy0 📷@KriedemannMark #lismorefloods
Blown away by the generosity shown by @Coles in responding to our call for support to care for residents and our staff across some of our sites that have faced significant challenges this year!
Our cottage residents at Scone, Hammondville and Caulfield, who had been isolated from family and friends, were treated to a Christmas care package yesterday courtesy of @Coles. Thankyou Coles store managers Chris, Eddie and Lloyd (pictured) and teams for sharing festive joy
Love everything about this. Especially Una’s expression…
Resident Una Daniel is right where she should be – at the centre of today’s major announcement with #Coles. We are joining forces with the leading retailer to enhance the meaningful engagement offered by Village Stores in our care homes. More here hubs.li/H0-_62c0
Hi @UberEats I really think we have to break up. Two Saturdays ago you told us our meal for our two kids would take an hour to prepare and deliver. You then amended this to an hour and a half. After waiting the hour and a half, you then cancelled, no genuine apology offered up.
Not sure if I’d trust quality of the sausages though @SR_Langford
Thanks @garethjward for welcoming our latest customers to their new home in Casula. This 63 unit building is providing social and affordable housing sgch.com.au/increased-social…

.@brpeacock27 @rogerchristie even the traffic passing by gave a cheer...
Well done @SR_Langford for being the driving force behind this (amongst many others!) and seeing it through.
