It’s so tiring how much they lie and misinform us that we start to question whether we are mad and they are right . They set standards so low , we start to accept normal stuff as a great achievement. This Trump / Johnson era of social engineering is dangerous.

Everything is so ludicrously tribal these days. Huge crowds on a beach: one side says it’s fine. Other side says it’s bringing another Covid 19 wave. Huge crowds protesting against racism: side who says it’s fine on beach, says it will cause 2nd wave. Other side says it’s fine.

Perfectly summed up in just over a minute. Is it a coincidence that those who have, seemingly, been the smartest are all women? Probably not.
Some lessons from around the world: the most successful global leaders in fighting coronavirus have communicated clearly, displayed empathy, and always favored science over politics.

And now for a press conference with the chap who refused to cancel Cheltenham, boasted about shaking hands with infected people, went on holiday in February, ignored warnings about PPE & preparedness, locked down late & skipped five COBRA meetings. Hope hacks can stay 'positive'.

Totally get that these circumstances are incredibly difficult, especially for those that make the big decisions. Whatever the rights and wrongs of policy, though, calling them a success seems hugely disrespectful and thoughtless to those that have suffered losses.

A lot of the people insisting that we should risk lives to prevent damage to the economy spent the last few years arguing that we should damage the economy to get blue passports. Interesting priorities.

The Trump campaign seriously just issued a cease and desist for this ad so I'm doing my part and sharing it as widely as humanly possible.

Jacob Rees-Mogg just said we can't have another referendum now that people know more about Brexit, because we'd vote to stop it. @Femi_Sorry was *almost* speechless...
