Impressive heavy-weight SLAM system from Zachary Teed and @jiadeng; accurate and robust it seems. With dense BA in the loop, I wonder how much DL really contributes? Doesn't all that live image info used properly mostly overpower learned priors (proven by strong generalisation)?

The method uses recurrent iterative updates of camera pose and pixelwise depth through a Dense Bundle Adjustment layer. Runs in real-time with two 3090 GPUs.
