Eyewitness Mohannad Abu Labda told Drop Site’s Mohamed Ahmed that two drone missiles struck a populated area surrounded by displacement tents and located beside a school, sending children fleeing through the streets. “These are their targets? Civil servants?” Abu Labda said, identifying Bassam Miqdad, known as Abu Mohammed, among those killed. “At three o’clock, Abu Mohammed was standing beside me, trying to get a loaf of bread for his children for three shekels. 💢Israel killed 143 Palestinians and wounded 674 others in Gaza during the month of October, according to a new monthly report from Gaza’s Health Ministry. ➤ Among those killed were 23 children, 11 women and 2 elderly people. The wounded included 190 children and 129 women. ➤ October recorded the highest monthly number of injuries since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025. ➤ Since the ceasefire took effect, 1,583 Palestinians have been killed, including 348 children and 154 women, while 5,696 others have been wounded, including 1,731 children, according to the ministry. The figures cover the period through October 31, 2026.
