🎃👻 WHAT A SPOOKTACULAR NIGHT! 👻🎃 Our annual Halloween Movie & Pizza Night was an absolute SCREAM last night! 😂🍕🎬 We had an incredible 96 children in the house, split across our Little Dragons and Junior Dragons parties… and they all had an absolute BLAST! 🥋🎃 There were costumes, martial arts games, plenty of laughs, lots of pizza and of course a Halloween movie to finish things off! 🍕👻🎥 A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along and helped make it such a brilliant night. We love creating these memories with our BMAA families! ❤️ Now it’s time for the real Halloween fun tonight… 🎃🍬 If you’re heading out trick or treating, have an amazing time, stay safe, stay together and watch out for anything that goes BUMP in the night! 👀👻 HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!

We absolutely love these photos of Kiril and the coaching team from the recent Jackhammer UK event at Cardiff's Vale Arena. They capture so much more than just a fight. They capture the passion, emotion, support and belief that go into every performance ❤️👊 Kiril stepped into the ring and put on a strong performance, applying pressure and forcing two counts before his opponent’s corner decided not to send their fighter out for the third round. But we love seeing the reactions from the coaching team just as much. When one of our fighters steps into that ring, they’re never in there alone. Behind them are coaches who have watched the rounds in the academy that nobody else sees… The mistakes. The improvements. The tough sessions. The nerves. The moments when things don’t quite go to plan. And then finally, moments like THIS 🙌 That’s why the passion shines through so much in these photos. It means something. Another experience in the bank. Another step forward. 🥋 THEY’VE GOT THE WHITE BELTS… WE’VE GOT THE HIGH-FIVES READY! 🙌 A HUGE welcome to our newest white belts joining our Little Dragons (4–6yrs) and Junior Dragons (7–12yrs) training programmes! 👏❤️ There’s something special about children having a part of the week that feels like THEIR thing. There’s so much to look forward to: getting stuck into the activities, learning new skills, finding a favourite pad drill and discovering just how much fun martial arts can be. 🥊🙌 Along the way, we’ll encourage them to listen, show respect, support each other and keep trying when something takes a little practice. To the parents: thank you for making room for us in your family’s week and trusting us to be part of your child’s development. We’re looking forward to getting to know you, too! To our newest white belts: you’ve got a whole Academy ready to cheer you on. We’re so happy you’re here!

🥋🔥 LAST UP… AND FINISHING THE NIGHT ON A HIGH! 🔥🥋 We wrapped up last night’s belt grading with our Advanced Junior Dragons and Adults. This is the only time our children train alongside our adults, and there’s a good reason for it… It raises the bar! 💪 For our advanced juniors, stepping onto the mats alongside the adults creates a more intense, focused environment. It’s a chance to challenge themselves, take greater responsibility for their training, and push to another level. Our adults deserve a massive shout-out too! You’re working hard towards your own goals while showing our younger members what commitment, discipline and perseverance look like in action. 👊 And to our parents… THANK YOU. ❤️ Getting your child to training every week takes time, organisation and commitment. Every journey to the Academy, every word of encouragement, and every week you make training a priority helps your child keep moving towards their goals. Your commitment to their training and development means so much. You might be watching from the sidelines, but you’re a huge part of the progress we see on the training mats. 🙌 To everyone who graded last night: that new belt represents weeks and months of learning, practising and pushing through when things feel challenging. Wear it with pride. You’ve worked for it, you’ve earned it, and we’re proud of you all! ❤️ 👏

Next onto the mats at tonight's belt grading were our Beginner and Intermediate Junior Dragons (7–12 years)… And we’re delighted to say… THEY ALL SMOKED IT!! 🙌🔥 Every new belt represents practice, patience and those moments when something feels tricky… but you have another go anyway. That’s how progress happens, and tonight you get to celebrate yours! 💪 And to our brilliant parents… this is your moment for a round of applause too! 👏👏👏 We know getting your children to training means juggling work, school and the other 500 things on your list! 🚗😊 Thank you for bringing them week after week, encouraging them when they need a little boost and giving them the opportunity to discover what they’re capable of. That commitment makes a real difference. We see it, we value it and we appreciate the trust you place in our team. ❤️ Junior Dragons, enjoy that “I DID IT!” feeling tonight. You’ve earned it! 🥋🌟

IT’S GRAAAAADING DAAAAY… AND OUR LITTLE DRAGONS 4-6YRS GOT US OFF TO A ROARING START! 🥋 👂 Listening ears? Switched ON! 🎯 Focus? Fantastic! 😄 Fun? Right until the very end! Small in size. BIG in effort! These little stars gave us plenty to be proud of today! At this age, listening carefully, following instructions and sticking with a challenge are all achievements worth celebrating. Seeing them put those skills into practice on grading day is something we absolutely love. ❤️ And to our brilliant parents… you deserve a round of applause too! 👏 Thank you for bringing them week after week. For encouraging them, supporting them and making training a regular part of their lives... 🥊🔥 WHAT A NIGHT FOR TEAM BMAA AT JACKHAMMER UK! We’re incredibly proud of the heart, determination and fighting spirit our team showed in Cardiff last night! ❤️ There were tough battles, dramatic finishes and moments that had everyone on the edge of their seats. Here’s how our fighters got on… 👇 🥊 KIRIL A strong performance from Kiril, who forced two counts before his opponent’s corner decided not to send their fighter out for the third round. A well-earned WIN for Kiril! 👏🔥 🥊 LEWIS Lewis came through an absolute battle! He dug deep and went out to secure a KNOCKOUT WIN in the final round! What a finish to a tough fight! 💥 🥊 COREY Corey faced a more experienced opponent and came away with a loss this time. There will be plenty to learn from this fight, and he’ll take that experience back to the mats, keep improving and go again. We’re behind you all the way, Corey! 👊 🥊 REECE Reece earned a UNANIMOUS DECISION WIN in a really tough contest. He had to work hard for it, and getting the nod from all three judges was a brilliant reward for his efforts. Well done, Reece! 🙌 🥊 TAYLOR What an unbelievable display of heart. Taylor was caught in the opening seven seconds and knocked down heavily. For a moment, we thought his night might be over. He got back to his feet, came back strongly and took the fight to his opponent over the next two rounds, walking away with a DRAW! 👏 We found out afterwards that his opponent had recorded five consecutive first-round knockouts in boxing, which puts the challenge Taylor faced into perspective. Incredible determination! 🥊 LIAM Liam fought his heart out in a fantastic performance, even forcing his opponent to take a count. He narrowly lost on a split decision, but there was so much to be proud of in the way he competed. A huge effort, Liam! 👏🔥 Every one of these fighters will take something valuable from the night: things to be proud of, lessons to work on and experience to carry into their next challenge. That’s how we keep learning, growing and moving forward as a team. A huge thank you to our coaches, families and everyone who supported the team. And respect to our opponents and their coaches for a memorable night of competition. 🤝

This weekend, our team is at the Barnsley Metrodome for the WKO British Championships — one of the major events on the British competition calendar! 🇬🇧🏆 There’s been a LOT of hard work going on behind the scenes to get ready for this one… Extra rounds. Extra conditioning. Sharpening techniques. Making weight. Pushing through the tough sessions when it would have been easier to ease off. Now it’s time to step onto the mats and put all that preparation into action. 💪 Whatever the results, we’re already incredibly proud of the commitment, discipline and courage every member of the team has shown getting themselves ready to compete.
