Hey NJ! The USSC voted in favor of protecting girls in sports today. Here in NJ, we should do the same. There is a bill pending in the Legislature. A673/S856 would create fairness in sports for the girls here in NJ. The @NJAssemblyGOP sought to have it voted on the floor a few months ago, and the Democrats voted NO. That's what they think of women rights. One more thing, New Jersey… The Legislature is fast-tracking a vote on the so-called “Fair Price Protection Act.” While the name sounds consumer-friendly, testimony from the industry made it clear how this bill will undermine the loyalty programs that millions of New Jersey families rely on for savings at grocery stores, pharmacies, and other retailers. At a time when families are already struggling with the high cost of living, New Jersey should be protecting opportunities to save money. The Democrats seem doomed to do the opposite. New Jersey already ranks among the least business-friendly states in the nation. We should be encouraging investment and competition, not adopting policies that make it more expensive to do business here and ultimately cost consumers more.
