One thing I’ve learned from paying attention to DeFi is that a big treasury doesn’t automatically mean a strong ecosystem. What matters to me is what a project actually does with the capital it holds. That’s why DeFi-IRA’s NestEgg concept caught my attention. I started thinking about what could happen when a treasury doesn’t just hold value but actively puts capital to work. Here’s the part that got me curious: ➥ External yield — putting capital to work to generate potential returns. ➥ Treasury profits — turning those strategies into potential financial gains for the ecosystem. ➥ $IRA buybacks — potentially using those profits to purchase $IRA directly from the open market. The bigger picture looks like this: External Yield → Treasury Profits → $IRA Buybacks What interests me most is the connection between these three moving parts. It raises an important question: can a treasury strategy do more than generate returns and help create a sustainable cycle of value for the ecosystem? Of course, I’m not ready to judge the concept by its design alone. I want to see where the yield comes from, how the numbers are reported, and whether the strategy delivers measurable results over time. Because in DeFi, I’m learning to look beyond what a project could do and pay closer attention to what it actually delivers. NestEgg has my attention.
