Brent was our favourite from the off. The surprise contestant and definitely the deserved winner. Brilliant result. 👏👏👏
And like every season on @masterchefau we all have those we root for. My favourite for the season was Declan. The man who delivered some top notch fish dishes 🐠 and always so positive. And when he helped out Theo, what a top man. Hoped he would go all the way.

Brent may have won the title but Declan won hearts and minds. His friendship with Robbie and that totally selfless act when he helped Theo. We tragically lost Jock , we joyfully gained Declan.

He was my favourite. He was so willing to learn and experiment. Think at one point they could have advised him better - they seemed happy to give others advice generously. Such an instinctive cook. Lovely chap.

First off. Congratulations to Brent. To my mind, deserved winner for his consistency during the competition and the mental health journey he has been on. Such a nice guy too.

After the passing of the wonderful Jock, I wasn’t sure I could watch the most recent series of @masterchefau but am glad I did and have just caught up with it all now. I think it was a fabulous season and over the next few weeks, I want to post about it and share your views.

Absolutely an addict to @MasterchefAusUk and have been for years. It was all the talk with my mum. It’s odd watching it now she’s dead and knowing that jock has gone too. @MasterChefUK could deffo take a leaf out of its book. It’s so very exciting.

Just watched the last @MasterchefAusUk episode. A very deserving winner but tinged with sadness. I really grew to love #jockzonfrillo. He was a truly great judge, encouraging and guided the contestants with empathy. Such a loss

I can’t stop thinking about Jock Zonfrillo’s children, his family. So many are plunged into deepest grief. My heart goes out to them. And I hope their wishes for privacy are respected.

Absolutely devastated. My age! Many prayers for his poor wife& kids. I always thought his sympathy & empathy for contestants who were struggling emotionally was inspiring.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
