Daveyton E-Hailing Driver Shot in Alleged Robbery
An e-hailing driver is recovering in hospital after armed suspects allegedly shot and robbed him in Daveyton at around 1am on Sunday.
The attack reportedly happened after a female passenger asked him to wait while she fetched her bag. Her possible involvement remains unconfirmed.

Hanover Park Teen Murder: Man Gets Life Sentence
Seventeen-year-old matric learner Jehaan Petersen was murdered in Hanover Park in September 2022 after reportedly telling her family she feared for her life.
George "Georgie" Titus, 33, was convicted of her murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.
He allegedly threatened one of Jehaan's relatives after sentencing, resulting in a separate police case.
