Last week we asked students what a mathematician looks like. I bet you could guess students' ideas.
This week we will share a few mathematicians I'd like us to learn from including Chika Ofili, 12-year-old boy from Nigeria who discovered a divisibility rule for the number 7.

One of the first memes I share with students. I ask "Where are you in this picture? Are you in the box of memorizing formulas or are you in the play area of math exploration?" At the end of the course, I show this meme and ask the same question.
