I don’t hate #foundation as a show. I do loathe the creative team in their choices to change the story so drastically and think that “we the viewers” can’t handle a complex multi-century story arc.

This is lazy work at best. You have 100’s of millions of potential viewers who love the books and you’ve changed it all. It would have been far better to simply craft smaller stories to and spread out the plot and the stories. Gail sees premonitions? Come on.

They have made characters connect in ways that seem to echo something larger than maths. Seldon was not a megalomaniac. Hardin was not the child of 1 generation removed critical people to the start of the plan.
