Of course that's your contention. You're a first-year offensive coordinator; you just got finished reading some spread historian, Mouse Davis probably. You're gonna be convinced of that 'till next month when you get to Hal Mumme. Then you're going to be talking about how the offenses of Iowa Wesleyan and Valdosta State were entrepreneurial and capitalist way back in 1995. - Skip pull to stay square and tight to the line of scrimmage
- Pulling guard aims for the inside arm pit of the play side LB. If the defender tries to wrong arm/spill the puller, it will create more space for when the RB bounces.
- RB path must stay on the inside hip of the puller. "If you're running the ball outside the guards hip, good luck, you're on our own. You're in enemy territory."

- Get two kicks to create early space
- Buys time for OT to assess rush and gather with low hands
- Look to punch vs high rush
- Don't bring your hands until DE commits
- With no hands/arms to attack, DE will often bull rush
- "If you get your arms under it's a wrap. It's done, you just get your cleats in the ground and there is no more push. The defender has no power producing angles, it's over."
