But there is an ad running that tells voters they can’t afford groceries because the United States gives so much money to Israel. In reality, the United States spends money in and on countries all around the world – but this ad singles out the Jewish state. The ad is as dangerous as it is dishonest. You can disagree with how the United States spends money abroad. But telling hungry families that the Jewish state is the reason they are suffering is wrong and shameful. Blaming Jews for people’s problems is an old story. Anybody who has read the last century of history knows where it leads. It is a dark pathway. This ad is anti-Jewish hate and should come down immediately. Abdul El-Sayed should denounce it today.

A new historical marker has been unveiled in Ellerbe, North Carolina for André the Giant… and it’s there for a real reason. Andre owned a ranch just outside of town. This wasn’t a quick stop between bookings—this was where he went to live when he wasn’t on the road. He raised cattle there and spent real time in that community. The people in Ellerbe didn’t just know the attraction you saw in arenas. They knew the man. In 1990, he even spoke out locally against a proposed radioactive landfill in the area. That tells you how connected he was to that place. And when Andre passed in 1993, his ashes were spread right there on that land in North Carolina. So when that marker says “Lived nearby”… that’s not filler. That’s the whole story. In 1991 the 49ers tried to change their logo. Someone said, Imagine being the guy who designed it. He was probably so proud and honored they were gonna use it, just to have the entire fanbase shit on it so hard that they changed their minds in 24 hours. Ouch. Thirty-five years ago, the 49ers unveiled a new logo and helmet design, replacing the iconic “SF” with blocky and outlined text that read “49ers.” Consultants from NFL Properties, the league’s former marketing arm, recommended the switch, saying it would make the franchise more appealing to the entire Bay Area. At the time, 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr. went along with the idea. The 49ers hadn’t even conducted focus-group testing beforehand. After photos from the news conference hit the newspapers the next day, angry calls bombarded 49ers HQ in Santa Clara. Fan uproar forced the team to reverse course. Six days after the news conference, DeBartolo announced that the 49ers would be reverting to their classic uniforms.
