Texas = soon to be a sanctuary state. Ugh.
Understand the implications of what happened in Texas last night. Gina Hinojosa has called on Gov. Abbott to end state & local cooperation with ICE & she can order that on day one. Hinojosa voted against the 2017 SB 4 as a TX state rep. The bill was essentially a sanctuary cities ban and required TX law enforcement to cooperate with ICE detainers. She then voted against another SB 4 in 2023, which made it a state crime to cross illegally into Texas. Should there be another border crisis in coming years, there will likely be no resistance from Texas at the border. No Texas DPS, no TX National Guard, no razor wire or water buoys, and no Operation Lone Star, which Hinojosa called a β€œdog and pony show” and β€œpolitical theater”. Remember when 15,000 Haitians surged illegally into Del Rio, TX in 2021 under the international bridge? That was only stopped because Texas DPS responded on Abbott’s orders and physically blocked further crossings by lining up their cruisers to form a wall. The Biden Border Patrol was caught off guard and offered almost no resistance, except for some horseback agents who were falsely slandered for β€œwhipping”. Additionally, because Republicans failed to pass any legislation codifying President Trump’s border security measures, if Dems take the White House in 2028, that Dem president could, if he/she wants to, reverse every single Trump border security policy immediately upon taking office because they were all done at the executive level, and they can order Border Patrol to go back to a passive catch & release policy like we saw under Biden.

You know, this might have been useful messaging before the election

I’m still frustrated by conservatives & moderate Republicans who somehow STILL, after all the evidence here in FL, think conservative politicians can’t win They can. They HAVE. Normal Americans want competency & moderation after years of grandstanding and extremism on both sides
Replying to @Contrarian08
Exactly. He governed conservatively and won reelection in 2022 by 20 points. Conservatism works.

The American people do not owe β€œloyalty” to any politician. They owe loyalty to us. Your loyalty is to your nation. You support politicians when they do the right thing and criticize them when they do the wrong thing. They serve you. Not the other way around.
Your loyalty to Trump matters ten times more now. Take notes of those who betray him tonight.

Keep in mind that Trump will be personally picking the worst possible primary candidates for the rest of his life and he'll probably live to be 100

Alex Jones asked me how I predicted this historic defeat of the Republican Party: I spent the last year campaigning and talking to thousands of voters. I spent the last two months in 10 different states. It's really the ECONOMY, stupid. We are in a debilitating forever war for Israel. I had low expectations going into this, but this is unbelievable.

If Republicans ever want to win again, we have to: 1. Stay out of the Middle East 2. Fight for the Middle Class 3. Defend the Constitution No more worshipping Trump or Israel. Time for actual America First.

I’m very glad the Republican Party learned from their mistakes when they ran Herschel Walker and Dr. Oz and decided to run such champions of our people like Darlene Graham, Vivek, and Ken Paxton instead.

Prime Minister David Cameron resigned the day after he lost Brexit. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak resigned the day after his party lost the 2024 elections. Why isn't Trump resigning tomorrow for the worst Republican performance in a half-century?

Honestly if the country wants to put marxists in power who despise it and its people, then America deserves what it voted for. Most of us who opposed this don't, but not even the @GOP we put in office were on our side and everything our ancestors built has been allowed to be decimated by spoiled theater kids with incurable daddy issues. If it was worth saving then more would have been done, but that would have required not playing video games for 7 hours a day

The MAGA political brand is dead but America First as a movement and principle lives on and must live on. If the Republican Party will have any future, and if the country itself will have any future, it will be through America First.

Assuming Republicans lose the seats where prediction markets have the Democrats at 90+% to win, that would produce 55 Democrat Senate seats. Chance of confirming a worthy successor to Justice Thomas and/or Alito during President Trump’s term: Zero. Chance of confirming a worthy successor during a hypothetical GOP admin 2029-2033: probably zero (GOP won’t be able to recapture enough seats in 28).
