the intimacy and sensuality these two managed to portray here before they even kissed...not everyone can pull off that level of intensity on screen. beautiful chemistry, acting, visuals, direction and some (A LOT of) crack cocaine sprinkled all over 🧎♀️

The end of the Civil War 😭
" A solder's only job is to keep his people safe. The peace of this city, the lives of its people that's our one and only mission. Nothing come before that, nothing. And I trust the administration shares that very conviction. "
👏👏👏GREAT SPEECH, Changxuan! A true loyal servant to the people of the nation. To keep the people safe is the main goal of a soldier. You'll be okay when the revolution starts. Look at Pingjun's face — she's so proud of her husband and the cockroach couple looks mad asf hah

MY MOOD OF SEEING THEM AT THE FINALE FAN MEETING WILL DEPENDS ON THE ENDING....SO BETTER PRAY HARD DIRCTOR!
....IF IT'S A SAD ENDING YOU BET I WILL BOOK THE FIRST TICKET TO CHINA AND I WILL FIND YOU AT THE EVENT AND I WILL DO SOME DAMAGE!
there are reports of a celebratory finale fan meeting for the lament of autumn (玉簟秋) on november 7 in changsha, with chenglei, xuruohan, and other members of the main creative team in attendance!
the reports say the platform is organizing the event because it’s extremely satisfied with the drama’s performance in all aspects 🥹
the lament of autumn now holds the highest cvb daily average of the whole year and the highest kuyun daily average of the whole year, and there’s still 12 episodes to go 🤭 it is without a doubt mangotv’s dark horse drama for the year !
their tv ratings have taken over weibo today, their romantic scenes too, and people are begging mangotv to do a mini variety show (they did for some dramas this year even after the drama finished aired) so pretty please mangotv ??
if there’s concrete confirmation about the event i’ll update 👀
I'm happy for them, I am really but you know what will also make me extremely happy for them?
....IS A FKING GOOD ENDING !!!! 😭
xuruohan and chenglei’s the lament of autumn is already being broadcasted from the start in a different time slot, and guess what? it’s number one in tv ratings in the afternoon too !! 🥳
“the lament of autumn ranks first in ratings for its rerun” (hot search #)
“the lament of autumn 玉簟秋 is currently being rebroadcast in hunan satellite tv’s afternoon time slot, with its real-time ratings ranking first among provincial satellite tv channels!
in addition, the drama has already achieved 14 consecutive ratings victories in the primetime slot!”
no matter the time slot or if it’s a rerun, they are still number one in ratings 🥳 congrats !!
OK FINE , to be fair to this cockroach, Changxuan wasn't innocent either; he was the villain. BUT you can't defend the cockroach either, because at that time he was also using his Japanese GF and lied to Pingjun. So if we're going to judge who's the real POS, it's def the cockroach.

" You were bold enough to build a lie, but you're too coward to chase after her? "
....That was harsh, sister 🤣🤣🤣 but that's the push he needs. Like, come on, where is that arrogant young master that won't refuse to let go of his love?

" Stay the hell away from my wife "
" Your wife? How do you say that with a straight face ? "
....His straight face must've triggered a memory, huh, JXT? Here, let me remind you of that shameless straight face 😂. He had a gun to his head back then with a straight, cocky ass face. Oh, your feelings were hurt and still am lmao. When will you learn your lesson that this man dgaf about straight face when it comes to his wife.

" I lost my memory, not my judgment. I know what kind of man I married and I trust my own heart. "
...That's my girl, Pingjun. She said she might've lost her memory, but she ain't stupid, her brain is still working just fine. She can tell that her husband truly loves her, so you can FUCK OFF and jump off another cliff.
Yes, Changxuan lied, but one thing that mf never lies about is his true feelings and love for Pingjun. 😏
