Comparing Sonnet vs. Opus vs. Astra for video editing. Findings: - Although Opus 5.5 is more expensive than Sonnet 5.5 the quality of the output was nearly identical. - Only GPT Astra put the 3 bullets on the side I pointed to. - For all 3 the assets & effects look cheap without a good skill. Next step: Make some skills to create better visuals.

Grok 4.6 is still my main LLM. I've tried different models, but Grok still wins on value-for-money. If money didn't matter I'd probably just use Fable 5.1 But for now it's just Grok 4.6 on the Cursor Pro subscription.

No more creativity. Landing page is now a 1:1 of best practices. - No fancy silly gradient. - Clear product shot before fold. - Social proof from awesome people who allowed me to use their comments. Now it's just a matter of outreach and niching down. Literally nothing else matters.

ProductHunt launch was 8 hours ago. Here are the results: • 0 sales • 4 trials • 26 of 875 lauches • Not featured (only top 23) My key learnings: • Add a chat widget to site so people can ask questions • Don't record video the night before lauch, you'll look tired • Schedule social media material stuff in advance • Check logins, and stripe checkouts work properly • A lot of visitors are on mobile, so make it work there too. • Ask grok for successful launch posts that you can remix. I'll post a full post-launch breakdown after the launch is over. Thanks again for the support! Link below 👇

My ProductHunt launch final numbers, learnings & next steps: 🔢 Final numbers: • 0 sales • 7 trials • 40 upvotes • Not featured • 50 new followers on X • Rank nr. 25 of 875 launches --- 🧠Key learnings: --- • Make good Open Graph image: Very important! It shows when links are shared, needs to look nice so people click. • Gather social proof: PH launch is perfect for this! I got ~8 legitimate quotes I can use for my landing page. • Test Stripe checkout: Go through the checkout, and refund yourself. Don't rely on test mode! Check both signup and unsub flows. • Share your numbers: Sharing honest numbers got me ~50 new X followers, and a lot of support for the launch. • Transparency wins followers: Share ups & downs, don't sugar-coat. People root for the 'underdogs'. • Make launch video short: Attention spans are short, cut the fluff and get to the point. • Schedule posts in advance: You'll be stressed on launch day, prepare posts in advance, and share them everywhere. ---↪️ Pre-lauch preparation tips & hacks:--- • Take time to record the launch video. I recoded the night before and look tired, which is bad! • Prepare 5-10 social media posts that are high value. Don't just ask for upvotes. If you struggle with ideas, ask Grok for successful launch posts (it has access to X api)! • Fill out ProductHunt launch information properly. Fill everything out! Check successful launches for guidance. --- ➡️ Next steps for the product:--- • Although there were no sales, I firmly believe in the product. • Next I'll apply for more permissions from Meta to add first comment for Threads, Facebook, and Instagram. • Marketing is the new priority. Finding good reliable high intent channels is #1 priority. • I'll be implementing the feedback, and adding all social proof to the site. ---- Thanks again for all the support on the launch! Really means a lot to have such an awesome community! More coming soon! ✌️✌️✌️

Aaaand we're live 🚀 After a lot of work, and a few setbacks... I've launched Crosspublish on ProductHunt ☺️ the tool is for creators, founders, marketers who want to post their content broadly & value granular control over every post. It comes with a powerful set of growth tools: - Support for 10+ networks - Content calendar with a clean, calm design - Analytics to track your performance - MCP integration for Claude, ChatGPT etc. I'd genuinely love your feedback on my first bootstrapped SaaS. 🫶

Everyone can smell your AI content. Here's the fix. I built a skill that makes 5 AI advisors review your content, and outputs a list of feedback in order of priority to improve it.

One thing I dislike about Indie Hacking. The paralyzing feeling of having to do everything at once: - Cold outreach - Create SEO copy - Improve the product - Post content This week I planned my entire week in advance. No more deciding what to do next between tasks. Just execute. Making much better progress.

To people who say SaaS is dead: Cars didn’t replace horses in a day. To people who say SaaS isn’t dead: Horses are still on roads, but far fewer.

Submitted my app to TikTok for review. It's the second attempt... Luckily the review cycle was much shorter than Meta's. Once they approve my app, I've successfully integrated all major social media platforms 🥲 Keep goin'

Catching bugs is a big advantage of using my product daily. If I were solving someone else's problem, I I wouldn't be using my product half as much. Just now I was scheduling content, and I saw a lot of rate limit errors. The issue was a hook that was triggering a request for every draft post. More drafts = more requests = rate limit hits. Many bugs would go unnoticed if I wasn't using my own product. Are you building to solve your own problem or someone else's?
