Treatment landscape of early-stage NSCLC is evolving very fast. We review current SoC with IO and targeted therapies(TT) and future challenges:
-Neoadj vs periop?
-IO in borderline resectable
-How to ⬆️pCR
-Role of TT..

Advances in #lung #cancer treatment are defining new needs in the context of #survivorship.
In this review, we explore the domains of lung cancer survivorship discussing how to address these emerging challenges.
Many thanks to this multidisciplinary team!

Smoking cessation is essential in lung cancer screening. In our study, with nearly 3,000 participants, cytisine achieved a 50.1% quit rate (vs 8.1% of counseling alone) with only mild side effects.
A step forward for the field.

Thanks to all co-authors. Great group!
Lung cancer in women is not just a biological disease. it’s shaped by delayed diagnosis, inequitable access, and unheard patient voices. We need data that truly reflect women’s experiences

In our international multicenter cohort, 119 patients showed primary resistance to 1L ICI in PD-L1 ≥50% NSCLC.
In 2L, continuing ICI + chemo improved outcomes vs chemo alone (PFS2 12.3 vs 7.0; OS 21.8 vs 10.1).

Two intense days at the @AIOMtweet Congress.
We discussed about liquid biopsy in early-stage NSCLC, and, during the plenary session, about the preliminary results of the RISP cost–benefit analysis (Italian lung cancer screening).
Thanks to AIOM, to all RISP PIs and Pr. Novello.
Honored to present at the #ERS2025 congress the preliminary data on smoking cessation within the Italian lung cancer screening program. A great opportunity to exchange ideas on how to enhance and implement effective strategies in lung cancer screening.
Extremely glad to discuss with Prof. Volante the results of our group’s research “Comprehensive molecular analysis to depict signatures associated withTKI treatment response in advanced NSCLC and to identify novelpredictive biomarker” at the @thermofisher event. @unito
Thanks to IASLC for the great opportunity! Superb talks, strong engagement and inspiring enthusiasm among colleagues from all parts of the world.

Teamwork always pays off. Grateful to @AIOMtweet for the opportunity to share our insights on QoL in onc.-addicted NSCLC pts and their caregivers. More efforts should be directed toward addressing unmet needs i.e. self-coping, preservation of sexuality, and psychological support.
