Our last paper is out! Some red-necked #nightjars suffer bite attacks that cause mutilation of the feet and toes. The crime scene is located over 3,000 km apart, and a tropical #ant species turned out to be the main culprit!

The data we use to test prey choice in the field can drastically change what we find. Intuitive, but it's also a little more complicated...🧵
