Back on Twitter after a short break.
Took a bit of a rest after the municipal election, and today e-mailed this note to our supporters, which I also posted on my LinkedIn:

Progress Vancouver’s grassroots fundraiser at Fraserview Hall was the biggest event in the election campaign.
Here’s a video produced by students from UBC showcasing the event and our wonderful team of candidates.

Walkable, transit oriented neighbourhoods are green, but they could be greener.
As mayor, I'll work to make Vancouver a world leader in mass timber buildings.
Mass timber is a cleaner, greener alternative to concrete towers. And it's harvested right here in BC.

Enough is enough. We should all be angry at the housing situation. Price gouging. Inflated rents. House flippers. Speculators. Micromanaging bureaucrats.
I'm going to put the $$$ back in the hands of regular people by giving $1200 in direct financial assistance for renters. 🧵👇

A healthy city is a fun city and unfortunately Vancouver has the reputation of being a no fun city.
For Vancouver to thrive, we need to find ways to make living here more enjoyable for everyone.
Here’s what I will do if I am elected mayor.

Vancouver is a city that has been and will be uniquely impacted by climate change.
However, we get to decide our response and the response we choose will define our city for years to come.
Please allow me to share our vision.

On this day of truth and reconciliation, Progress Vancouver remembers the history of residential schools and the impacts it still plays in the city.
One of which is the reality of #MMIWG2S.

People living & working in Chinatown need to be able to feel safe. Mark will take their concerns seriously.
Chinatown is a key local & national treasure.
We need it to be a magnet again for all of us and for tourists.
A thriving Chinatown is a safer Chinatown.
