I’m indescribably happy that a 5th Circuit panel vindicated not only Louisiana voters on the whole, but also Rep. Cedric Glover, who more than 3 years ago had the courage draw the direct & continuous line from the end of Reconstruction to today’s attacks on Black representation.
.@MayorGlover, showing photos of the Black #lalege members seated during Reconstruction: "It should not take federal troops for minorities to be seated in numbers that fairly represent us."
Obviously a good man who has been to #The318, but never had the blessing that is a Shreveport Stuffed Shrimp.
Shoutout Sam Burns, shoutout Shreveport, shoutout Herby K's, shoutout Superior, shoutout David Toms and Hal Sutton, shoutout @BunkiePerkins, shoutout Strawn's, shoutout never winning a single dollar at the boats

Within the next three years LSU Football would play twice in Shreveport. Before the next decade would pass, legislation was passed to provide funding for enclosing the south end zone, constructing the SkyBox and other stadium improvements. #LaLege #LaGov #ShreveportVsToronto 4/
In less than a month, the venue will play host to @50 Cent’s inaugural, star studded #HumorAndHarmonyWeekend2024. #LaGov #LaLege #ShreveportVsToronto 5/5
