Huntington Beach take note.
HIGH TIDES EXPECTED WEDNESDAY | STREET CLOSURES
Elevated tides are expected to continue tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 28. After reaching 8.2 feet today, levels are forecast to be slightly lower tomorrow but may still flood vulnerable coastal areas.
As a precaution, the following road closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday for the safety of everyone on the road and to allow public safety personnel and crews to monitor conditions and respond as needed:
• Pacific Coast Highway: Warner Ave to Anderson St
• Saybrook Lane: Edinger Ave to Humboldt Dr
Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes.
SAND AND SANDBAGS AVAILABLE
Residents can access sand and sandbags at the following locations:
• City Corporate Yard: 17371 Gothard St. — Extended hours through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Regular hours resume Friday.
• Edison Community Center: 21377 Magnolia St. — Open 24/7.
• Warner Fire Station: 3831 Warner Ave. — Open 24/7.

• Follow posted road closures and use alternate routes.
• Monitor official City of Huntington Beach updates for the latest information.
Thank you for your cooperation as our City teams continue to monitor conditions and prepare for potential flooding impacts.

🚨BREAKING: Candace Owens is celebrating being PERSONALLY DISMISSED from the Macron defamation lawsuit. But there are a few things she conveniently left out...
First, yes, Owens secured a legal victory. The Delaware court dismissed her in her individual capacity because it lacked personal jurisdiction over her - NOT because she was cleared of wrongdoing or because the judge found her allegations to be true.
However, BOTH of her companies remain defendants in the lawsuit:
- Candace Owens LLC - the company she solely owns and manages, which publishes and distributes her content.
- Georgetom, Inc. - the company operating CandaceOwens.com, including her merchandise and paid subscriptions.
The judge REJECTED their attempt to have the lawsuit dismissed on inconvenient-forum grounds.
Secondly, it's bizarre that even when Owens scores a genuine legal victory, she still feels the need to LIE.
She claims:
"I was NEVER being sued for stating that Brigitte Macron was born a male."
Yet on PAGE 8 of the judge's 56-page decision, it explicitly states:
"Throughout the Series, Ms. Owens contended that Mrs. Macron is a biological man, that the Macrons are blood relatives, and that they abused levers of state power to keep the nature of their relationship a secret."
The judge also identifies her allegations about Brigitte Macron's identity as a central part of the dispute.
Owens however, wants her audience to believe this lawsuit was only about her claims involving MKUltra and an alleged identity theft. But the court's own description of the case proves this false.
The Macrons also secured TWO significant procedural victories:
-The court REFUSED to dismiss the lawsuit against Owens' two companies on inconvenient-forum grounds.
-The court REJECTED the attempt to strike the Macrons' amended complaint.
A potentially decisive statute-of-limitations question remains unresolved.
So yes, Candace Owens won an important personal legal victory. But she was NOT vindicated on the merits, BOTH of her companies remain defendants, and the lawsuit is FAR from over.

Right now, Thomas Markle Sr. could be guilty of some of the most disgusting acts imaginable, and because of Meghan Markle, Thomas Markle Jr and The Sun’s actions, he could potentially end up walking free…. even if he is guilty.
The chain of custody of the alleged evidence matters! If the integrity of that evidence has been compromised, it could have serious consequences for any potential prosecution.
Thomas Markle Jr. discovered the alleged material among his father’s belongings. He later enlisted a private IT technician to examine three computer hard drives before the devices were formally examined by Philippine authorities.
Meanwhile, The Sun published an extensive exclusive about the material and Meghan Markle’s story made a statement implicating her dad.
Who had access to these computers? Were files copied, moved or altered? Were proper forensic safeguards followed? Did anyone associated with The Sun handle the original devices or receive copies of the files?
If Meghan's silence in 2019 was motivated by a desire not to jeopardize an investigation, what changed? And if she believed the authorities were investigating these serious allegations for seven years, did she ever follow up to establish whether that investigation actually existed?
And before anyone dismisses the importance of chain of custody, consider these actual court decisions:
1. Matter of M.S. (New York, February 2026)
New York’s highest court rejected the admission of videos allegedly depicting child sexual abuse because they had not been sufficiently authenticated. The videos had been recovered from a third party who claimed to have hacked into security cameras. The court reversed the resulting Family Court orders.
2. United States v. Zhyltsou (2014)
A federal appeals court overturned a criminal conviction after prosecutors failed to sufficiently authenticate digital evidence linking an online account to the defendant.
3. RCBC Bankard Services v. Oracion (Philippines, 2019)
The Philippine Supreme Court ruled that electronic documents lacking the required authentication were inadmissible.
These cases involved different circumstances and legal systems, but they demonstrate something important: Evidence must meet legal standards of authenticity and reliability, regardless of how disturbing the allegations are.
The question isn’t simply what was allegedly found. It’s whether investigators can prove where it came from, who controlled it, and whether it remained intact.
That is why chain of custody matters.
Justice for victims must never come at the expense of due process. Both matter.

THE CEASEFIRE HAS COMMENCED
The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
General Valery Gerasimov, Joint Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has confirmed.
