Yes, they had every right to be angry because both the child and her mother were neglected for 17 years. But that doesn't justify demanding 50 million. That amount was simply too much. They should have been more considerate and at least negotiated around what your dad offered instead of shutting the door completely. Anyways, when the time comes, that girl will still trace her way back to her father's family and ancestral home. That's how these things often turn out.
