In August 2025, the appellate court ruled in my favor again. My neighbor was ordered to replace my stairs, remove the wall, and take down the bushes blocking my easement. Eventually, the stairs were restored and the wall removed. I finally started using my walkway again, occasionally clearing weeds and overgrown grass around the beach. Within a week, I received a cease-and-desist notice accusing me of suspiciously walking around the property and claiming someone associated with me had used their private sidewalk. I hadn't done that. I contacted their attorney to document the accusations and remind him that the bushes were still blocking my easement. Then things got worse. A car appeared parked on my easement, and later, a broken piece of their pier was left there. I documented everything and informed their attorney. I thought I was simply protecting my rights, but my neighbors apparently weren't finished fighting.

When I bought my house, the property came with a legally documented easement giving me access to the lake through a walkway beside my neighbor’s property. Everything was fine until 2020, when my neighbor decided I should no longer use it. He ripped out my stairs, built a stone wall across the path, and planted enormous bushes to block my access. Then he appealed the decision, dragging me into another expensive legal battle. I was exhausted, financially drained, and wondering how far someone could go just to avoid admitting they were wrong.

Tyler was supposed to return the suit within a few days, but one week passed, then another. Almost three weeks later, I finally got it back. The moment I inspected it, I noticed a dark stain on one sleeve. The trousers also looked strange. Someone had altered the hems, making them longer than they were originally. Instead of asking me, Tyler decided to lend him my suit. He claimed he thought I wouldn't mind.
