This brilliant piece by Arsenal keeper @AaronRamsdale98 all about coping with toxic social media is a must read even if you have no interest in football theplayerstribune.com/posts/…

I'm at BBC HQ in London where there is a statue of George Orwell and his words
"If Liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear."
Watch the vid 🙏🏼

No Football Focus presenters
No Final Score presenter
No Match of the Day presenters, commentator or interviewees
All in solidarity with Gary Lineker because he said that the language of the Govt was dangerous AND IT IS
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing“. Thank you @GaryLineker @IanWright0 @AlexScott @alanshearer for speaking up 👏 Please, all aspiring MOTD presenters, don’t be the person who sells your humanity for an hour of fame #MOTD #Solidarity
Babatunde voted out tonight? I feel so embarrassed to be a part of this country at this time. If what is happening on this programme is a reflection on British society today, what a bad place we are in. #ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere

Horrific example of parental physical abuse in junior tennis. Over to you to deal with this through whichever governing body he falls under @worldtennis. 😡 😢

If US Supreme Court overturning #RoeVWade was about babies, there would be:
Universal healthcare
Free birth control
Free education
Free daycare
Child support
Criminalisation of all rape & child marriage
As with all abuse of women, this is purely about male power and control
Brandon Lewis speaking to @CliveMyrieBBC about UK support for Ukrainian democracy while our Prime Minister & government are destroying UK democracy is chilling. Listen to people like Ken Clarke. OUR democracy is at risk & we need to defend it before it is too late #SundayMorning
I have long admired @CliveMyrieBBC but watching him interview the odious Andrei Kelin on BBCs Sunday Morning right now raises him to hero status for me. Calm, forensic, unflappable & informed. He is superb and we so badly need journalists and reporters like him at this time.

The PM thinks it was fine to say “goodbye to valued colleagues” but it was criminal for me to say goodbye to my brother & mother
The first thing I did on learning of death was to check the rules, the second was to cry my heart out
He shames us
