I had a great weekend in Peoria at the Red Ryder Rumble! On the mound, I had an ERA of .000, 0 walks, and 8 strikeouts; offensively, I batted .500. Can't wait for another indoor tournament next month!

I had such an amazing time playing at the Red Ryder Rumble at Louisville Slugger Sports complex in Peoria, Illinois. My team went 1-3 but we played hard. Here are some of my highlights from this weekend.

The game is hard. Really hard when you鈥檙e off. Weeks ago I posted this comparison. You can tell by watching which barrel will be shorter to the zone when released. The knob going up instantly is key.

Last weekend, my team played awesome against some great teams at the @PG_Softball St. Louis Showcase. Thanks to all of the coaches that came out to watch! Here are some of my highlights.

To be great, you need a different mentality than the average person. You need a set of motivations, values, beliefs, and attitudes that lead to greatness rather than mediocrity.

"I don't think that athletes fully understand what it means to be elite.
It's practice before practice.
It's early mornings week after week - month after month.
It's sacrificing time with family and friends.
It's relentless.
And most people aren't willing to do it."
