Perfect post — Thanks for the reminder & Great job pointing this out.
All Republicans in New York State need to show the hell up & vote like the quality of our lives for the next four years depends on it . . .
Because it absolutely does.

Earlier today, the 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero in Manhattan was defaced with graffiti.
I wear on my wrist the names of over a hundred friends and colleagues who lost their lives in the attacks twenty five years ago.
1/2
October 16, 2004. The Yankees beat the Red Sox 19-8 at Fenway and go up 3-0 in the ALCS. No team in baseball history had ever come back from 0-3 in a seven-game series.
Game 4, bottom of the ninth. Yankees up 4-3, Mariano Rivera on the mound, three outs from the World Series. Kevin Millar walks. Dave Roberts comes in to run for him. Everyone in the building knows he's going.
Rivera throws over. Throws over again. Then Roberts goes, and he's safe by a hand. Bill Mueller singles up the middle, Roberts scores, 4-4.
12th inning. David Ortiz, two-run homer. Red Sox win at 1:22 in the morning.
Game 5 goes 14 innings and almost six hours. Ortiz again, a single to center to end it.
Game 6, back in New York. Curt Schilling pitches with a tendon in his ankle stitched in place, blood soaking through the sock. Seven innings, one run.
Game 7. Johnny Damon hits a grand slam in the second inning and another homer two innings later. Red Sox 10, Yankees 3.
Four straight wins over the Yankees, the last two in their own park. Then they swept the Cardinals and won their first World Series since 1918.
Eighty-six years of waiting, and it turned on one stolen base.
Where were you when Roberts stole second?

Thank you! You’d think it’s common sense and everyone would get out there. People feel their vote doesn’t count but as you can see it does!

22 Years ago today, The Red Sox became World Champions for the first time in 86 years. 🥹
Joe Castiglione call is still the best. ❤️

It really is such a beautiful thing that we’ve had 22 years of being reminded that the Yankees are the only baseball team to ever blow a 3-0 series lead. Mentioned on endless broadcasts by now. Still hits every time.

If you follow me, this catches your eye, and live in New York, you better be voting red.
Imagine how amazing New York can be if we took the power back.
I don’t know anyone who actually votes for Hochul, she can be beaten.
You just gotta vote.
