If Safaricom spent money the way City Hall does, their travel budget alone would be Ksh 38.8 Billion a year.
IN FY25 Safaricom spent 28 cents per Ksh 100 earned on travel and accomodation.
Nairobi County spent nearly Ksh 10 out of every Ksh 100 collected from parking, land rates, and mama mboga permits on local and foreign trips (If you add domestic spend, the bill gets to a little over 800M) Make it make sense!

Today, I took part in the 23rd edition of the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon. The event attracted a record 30,700 registered participants from 102 nationalities.
I completed the 21km Half Marathon in 1hr 44mins....11mins faster than last year!
