I will rather say, justify by religion.

I am always amazed by way my kids and their mum are so confident that I will buy them new phone and tablets, if the ones they are using should spoil or break. I need to learn how to be a wicked dad 😏

To be "saved" is simply to possess an enlightened mind that no longer fears death, no longer hates others, and sees its own finite life as an integral part of the infinite eternity of Nature.
10
"Blessedness is not the reward of virtue, but virtue itself." Salvation is achieved in this life through understanding. When a person uses reason to comprehend the universe, seeing how all things flow necessarily from the laws of Nature, they achieve a state of tranquil understanding.

You are free not when you act without a cause, but when your reason is the cause of your actions. Spinoza.
7
Since God/Nature operates by absolute causal necessity, human beings (as part of Nature) are bound by natural cause and effect. You are not "free" to desire whatever you want; your desires are caused by your physical state, past conditioning, and environmental influences.

Spinoza famously wrote that a stone flying through the air, if it were conscious, would think it was moving because it "willed" to do so. Humans think they are free simply because they are conscious of their actions, but ignorant of the causes that determined them.
5
Spinoza argues that nothing in nature is inherently "good" or "bad" in an absolute, metaphysical sense. Nature simply is. What we call "Good" is simply what increases our power, joy, and capacity to act; "Bad" is what diminishes our power or causes sorrow.

Every entity in nature has a fundamental striving to preserve and expand its own being (conatus). Ethics is the rational strategy for fulfilling this drive.

Spinoza demonstrates that human beings cannot flourish in isolation. Because we share a rational nature, the most useful thing to any human being is another human being. True morality is not self-sacrifice to appease God, but rational self-interest that realizes peace, community, and cooperation are the ultimate conditions for individual survival and joy.

Spinoza argues that God does not act by "will" or "choice" in the human sense. Human will involves deciding to do X instead of Y because of a lack or a desire. God acts solely out of the necessity of His own nature, meaning the universe unfolds logically and eternally, not through arbitrary choices, moods, or favoritism.
7
To Spinoza, God (Deus sive Natura—God or Nature) is an infinite, self-caused substance with infinite attributes. Therefore, attributing human desires to God is logically absurd.

Once humans convince themselves that nature was designed for their convenience, they have to explain why things don't always go their way (e.g., storms, plagues, droughts, or misfortunes). This forces them to project human psychology onto the divine: If nature is chaotic and sometimes harmful, humans assume the divine ruler must be angry, offended, or disappointed by human behavior. To win the ruler's favor, humans invent rituals of worship, sacrifices, and moral laws, convincing themselves that God has favorites who follow these rules better than others.

In classical Western philosophy, the concept of Aseity (aseitas—existing of and from oneself) defines God's self-sufficiency. In the Summa Theologiae, Thomas Aquinas explains that God is Actus Purus (Pure Actuality). Created beings move from potentiality to actuality (they grow, need things, and change), but God is already fully actualized. Because God has no unfulfilled potential, He cannot gain anything from human praise, recognition, or proof. Human devotion doesn't add to God's magnitude; it only benefits the human.
"If God acts for the sake of an end, he necessarily desires something which he lacks." Because an infinite being lacks nothing, God does not act to "prove" His power or seek external glory. Spinoza.

Rain falls equally on the just and the unjust. The divine order is complete in itself, and human opinion adds or subtracts nothing from its intrinsic perfection.

Eckhart asserted that God's nature is pure being. God does not demand things from humans to enlarge Himself, because the divine essence is already infinite. Attempting to "prove" God or win "favorite" status misinterprets the nature of the divine, reducing God to a human boss or ruler who feeds on flattery.

Spinoza criticized the human habit of inventing a God who picks favorites. He argued that people project their own egos onto God, imaging a deity who "ordained everything for the use of man, in order to bind man to themselves and obtain from him the highest honor" so that "God might love him more than his fellows." For Spinoza, nature and God operate by universal necessity, completely free from human-style favoritism.
