🇵🇸 “WE WERE PRAYING FOR HER TO FAINT.”
Orthopedic surgeon Mark Perlmutter described amputating the leg of a five-year-old girl in Gaza after the hospital ran out of anesthesia.
She stayed awake through the entire procedure.
The only thing the anesthesia doctor could do was SING to her.
Mark said the ER floor was filled with dozens of children, many missing limbs or with injuries so severe they needed amputations, inside a hospital with only around 40 to 50 beds.

🇵🇸 A mother in Gaza lost all 7 children in one strike.
“I miss the word Mom. No one calls me Mom anymore.”
She had 2 sons and 5 daughters. The oldest was 20, the youngest just 3.
She was at the market when an Israeli strike hit the school shelter where her family was staying.
And somehow, she calls herself lucky. Lucky because she found their bodies and got to bury them.
She misses their voices, their shouting, their little faces.
And the one word she'll never hear from them again.
“Mom.” 💔
How much more can Gaza lose before the world finally says enough?

Palestinian teenagers saved an American photojournalist from settlers who were beating her while the IDF stood by with machine guns.
Will our government leaders ever take a stand?
@SecRubio @GovMikeHuckabee @VP
I would tag the President but it’s pointless.
“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah.
Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah.
Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah.
"The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him.
Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.

Do your jobs @premierleague - you’ve found @ManCity guilty of all 115 charges, making them the biggest cheats in football history. So now announce their punishment immediately, act on it, and save this season from being an irrelevant farce.
Fraud!
It took Bruno Fernandes 23 minutes to complete his first pass against Tottenham Hotspur — that's the longest he has ever had to wait to find a teammate in his Premier League career.

The interesting thing about this is that there would be two versions of Deji Adeyanju at work on this panel: the lawyer and the activist, and the lawyer in him would be at war with the logic of his activist instincts.
The claim that the miners were “brutally murdered”, even if it ultimately proves true, should not be presented as an established fact before the evidence has been examined, especially by someone appointed on the strength of his legal credentials. A lawyer’s job is to examine the facts and test assertions against the evidence, and I know very well that Deji was trained in the law of evidence by one of the soundest specialists in the field in Nigeria.
The activist’s job, of course, is to serve as an intimidating presence so that the findings cannot be buried to protect vested interests. Either way, this is a good thing, and it helps that there are other lawyers on the investigative panel to stick to the facts.
I feel that I am on that committee to serve the interests of those who have been murdered brutally and gruesomely murdered. So, I am there to represent the victims, and I will make sure there is no cover-up or that nobody tries to suppress any wrongdoing; if they try to do so, I will expose them.
