The debate moment I just cannot get past is Trump’s faux emotional declaration that businesses are “dying!!!” during COVID & how “you can’t do that to people!” while in the same breath downplaying (if not outright ignoring) the immense loss of actual human life here in the US.
I feel like this exchange has gone largely unnoticed & I can’t comprehend it. I guess we all know it’s profit over people with this monster but imagine if he showed that much compassion or concern for those lives lost. By all means though, let’s call last night’s debate “civil.”
While we’re talking about the devaluation of human life, let’s also focus on his heartless, abhorrent remarks about the cleanliness of immigrant detention centers as details of women being abused, sterilized & more began rolling out in devastating measure. latimes.com/politics/story/2…

To be clear: Joe Biden is NOT going to raise taxes on anyone who makes LESS THAN $400,000 a year. If you make more than $400,000 a year & Biden is the President, your taxes will go up b/c he believes the wealthiest people in this country have to pay their fair share.
