as someone who used to believe in this theory, i want to add that there is Minecraft aim assist specifically for blocks (like if you're mining and you see diamonds it'd drift towards the diamonds) so that may explain why chatgpt hallucinated the block ids being a factor to it

To actually explain why I believe the stripped log argument doesn't make sense; I had someone search through the source code of multiple cheats, including recent versions and 1.16 (which was used in the Technoblade fight). It doesn't grab block IDs, it uses player.canSee. (1/3)
